Today, policymakers and world leaders are gradually seeking a holistic approach to decarbonization, including switching to the use of renewable energy. The Covid-19 pandemic is also driving this, so decision makers need to shift their priorities to green recovery rather than unsustainable strategies. Recovery measures are expected to generate new jobs and economic activity.
To make the necessary impact in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and providing access to renewable energy, more projects are bigger. The development of renewable energy and large-scale energy efficiency requires countries to establish institutional, policy, financial and regulatory frameworks that help attract capital from international financial institutions, and, most importantly, the domestic and international private sector.
Therefore, as part of the B20 Indonesia side event, the Indonesia Commodity & Derivatives Exchange (ICDX) together with the B20 Indonesia Task Force Trade & Investment will hold a webinar "Advancing Low Carbon Economy through Renewable Energy"
